Bando Cage
They may not be the most exciting accessory to add to your frame, but a trustworthy bottle cage is an integral part of every ride. We'd argue that it's also one of the least appreciated pieces of cycling equipment. While most cage designs are made in one standard size, Arundel's Bando Cage includes two optional silicone rubber bands that allow you to customize the tension of the cage depending on the type of ride you're on.
You can choose to ride with no band, a thin band, or a thick band, each making the cage tighter and the bottle more difficult to release. Whether you're going on a bumpy ride across historic cobblestones and want your bottle locked in place or are planning a smooth, relaxed spin along pristine tarmac, you can adapt the cage to fit the way you need it to on any given day or any given bike.

Keeps bottles in cage
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
- Height
- 5` 11"
- Weight
- 183 lbs
Put a couple of these cages on my gravel bike this past spring, and over about six months of use about once per week, have had no bottle ejections on rough terrain! Cages and clasps still in good shape. Holds the bottles tightly, but can still get them out for a drink during a ride. Would buy again.

Use the holder for water bottles on the down tube of my Topstone. It has four mounting holes so you can move up or down as needed. Holds the bottle very securely, I beat on my Topstone and this is the last thing I worry about.

Secure mount for tool bottle
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Got this to hold my "tool bottle", a bottle filled with a couple of tubes, levers, multi-tool, and spare chain quick-link. Pretty heavy, and the bottle has popped out of the cage a couple of times thanks to rough roads or washboards. Installed this, cinched it down with the rubber strap, and it held the tool bottle well for a couple of 50+ mile gravel rides, so I think it will work.

Snapped
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I've used cheaper bottle cages for years and never had one break. I installed this and the first time I tried to use it the thing snapped. Maybe, an anomaly isolated to this particular defective individual cage for I bought two and placed the other on my gravel bike and it's been working just fine. I put this one on a road bike and using the same bottle it broke.
