Why We Like The Anker Everfrost Powered Cooler

The Anker Everfrost Powered Cooler keeps our food and beverages cool as we rumble down dusty desert roads or kick our feet up at the campsite for some well-deserved rest and relaxation. The beefy 299Wh battery provides cold storage for up to 42 hours in the 30L size, and 35.8 hours in the 40L size, allowing us to crack a cold one or cook with fresh ingredients when we reach the campground for the night. The battery can be recharged from wall outlets, car sockets, USB-C devices, and even solar panels to ensure we never run out of juice, and so our juice stays cold. The EasyTow handle quickly converts into a small tabletop for meal prep, and the large six-inch wheels roll over rocky ground so we can set up camp on any patch of flat ground we can find.

The Cooler 40 is a well built tank you'll be able to pass on to your kids

The Anker EverFrost Powered Cooler 40 is an extremely well built tank, a unit which I’ll be able to pass down to my kids. The workmanship is impressive beyond belief. I’m very happy with this purchase.

Go Anywhere Cooler

Cooler runs great and is super-quiet. Battery life is amazing at moderate fridge temp (39 F). Love the ability to charge the battery while it runs the cooler.

Pretty Good

Pros: Cools quickly (78 to 34 degrees in about 30 minutes). Sturdy build. Built in wheels makes moving unit easy. Basket makes situating items into the cooler easy. Charging feature for phones / iPad is convenient. Not needing ice is very cool! Cons: A little heavy, but manageable. No place to store the cords. Actual space inside the cooler is smaller because of the motor.

Great camping fridge

Great camping fridge. I noticed the temp fluctuates consistently between +3F to -5F from set point. For me it is ok, and this fits well its purpose.

Awesome Product

I don't write many product reviews, but Anker deserves a shout out for their powered cooler. We used it on a two-week road trip to carry perishable medicine, and it performed flawlessly. Even the app works reliably! Yes, it's kind of expensive, but it's very well thought out and made, and you won't regret buying it if your budget can handle it.

Great cooler, could be even better

It's a very good cooler, if I put ice at the bottom, the ice will for the most part stays. Cools down super fast, battery doesnt last as long as advertised. I'm in texas and the full battery only lasts about 24 hours at the most. it's a little bulky and quite heavy to lift. I normally have to load the empty fridge in the car before loading foods inside because it's too heavy to be carrying with foods. But once down on the ground, the wheels are super handy and sturdy. Overall, happy with this purchase, it seems like a product that will last you a long time. I'm not just using this for camping but also keeping it for emergency situation when my power goes out. Also, the detachable battery pack is very very useful, I use it as a power station when I'm at home to carry around to smaller devices.

Great cooler for the weekend

Great first generation cooler. It lasts a solid 36 hours keeping everything at 37 degrees. The wheels, the latch, and the cooler body are solid. It’s great that there’s a LED light inside so you can see the contents in the dark. The options to charge the battery and run the cooler are plenty. The included cords are great. Mobile app is a cool way of managing the cooler remotely. The display is too dim though even at the highest setting. The instruction manual is a little too basic and doesn’t explain things completely.
