Most comfortable running shoes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are the most comfortable running shoes I've owned so far. They fit perfectly, true to size, and don't take long at all to "break in". I love the style of these too!

Freaking Amazing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are absolutely great trail shoes. The design and feel on my feet felt incredible. Dare I say, " I could run like the wind blows"

I feel these are closer to the lone peak 6

I owned 6 pairs of the lone peak 6 and absolutely wore them everyday doing everything from hiking, working out and to work. I only bought 1 pair of the 7 and felt it wasn't as good. The lone peak 8 looked closer to the 6 and was a little firm at first and it bent them a little up and down and side to side and it loosened them up and feel great. I love the bright yellow!

Holes in shoes after 2 Months

I received my shoes in December and 2 months later with minimal use, they are worn out and the ankle areas have holes in them. I reached out to support as I have had 2 pairs of Lone Peaks before and didn't have an issue, but they said I was "wearing the shoes incorrectly" and it's not a quality problem. In all my years, I haven't had a shoe that deteriorated so quickly nor have I come across a manufacturer that woudln't stand by their product... until Altra. The shoes are comfortable but don't expect them to last. Unfortunately, due to my experience with customer "support", this will be my last pair of Altra's... Doesn't sound like I'm alone after reading other rreviews...

poor colors for 7&8 stuck on lone peak 6 (I wear everywhere)

Lone peaks generally are the most comfortable shoe I own. I currently wear lone peak 6s in black (would be happy also with grey) when lone peak 7s came out, color combinations had me going back to buy an extra pair of 6s; I have waited to see Lone Peak 8s, they are even more disappointing. Stuck on 6, lets see what Lone Peak 9 brings (I notice I am not alone in having reservations) :-p I wear them not only to run. Buy them of course if they suit you I have no doubt about their comfort. (while at it give us Vibram soles)

I would buy more

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the most comfortable hiking shoe ever. I have never owned a pair of shoes that serve as a hiking boot. These are light and flexible. I prefer a wide toe box shoe and these fit so well. There is plenty of room in the toe box. My feet felt great after hours of hiking on gravel and dirt. These have proven to be a reliable choice.

So glad they made the 8 longer!

I wear size 13, last years lone peak were to short for me and since they don't make 1/2 sizes, I was out of luck. this year, I am in! Thanks for making them a little longer.

Most comfortable toe box ever

This has been just what the dr. ordered! A great lightweight shoe to where during physical therapy and for walking. Love the toe box!

Super comfortable and love the extra toe room

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received these in exchange for my honest opinion. They are very comfortable; love the zero drop and I have actually started using them as my daily shoes since I am on my feet all day walking and up and down stairs. The extra toe room makes them even more comfortable. They are also very light for when I am run. At the end of a long trail, my feet don't feel tired from the weight of the shoes. I wear a 10W and the fit great. Wish there were better color options though.

A nice wide zero drop shoe option!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like these shoes. They have a nice wide toe box, zero drop, and durable construction. If I had any criticism, it would be that the padding is a little thick, as I am used to and enjoy almost none.
