Failure
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I have 3 pairs of these and unfortunately the third pair failed within a week, the glue on the toe box came unglued!

I've had the Lone Peak 7 for over a month and have embarked on a handful of runs and hikes with them. Overall, I fell in love with this shoe almost immediately. It feels very comfortable to me, and lightweight. Running with my normal shoes (brooks ghost) my shins would get sore, and I do not experience that when using these shoes. Perhaps it's the zero-drop working? I can't speak to the long term durability issues as others have mentioned, but so far so good, they've held up well. These shoes will remain as my sole trail runners and a hiking shoe when I don't need/want my hiking boots. While these are not waterproof, they do dry very quickly as they're so lightweight and breathable. My only complaint is the laces are quite short. If you like to double-knot you may be strained on space. I use the runner's lock and there's not enough lace left for me to double-knot. They seem like high quality laces though, I've never had them come loose.

These are my fifth pair. I have my second pair which are falling apart for morning walks. My third pair are for treks in Nepal and the fourth pair are for more treks in Nepal. The fifth pair I just bought because if I can't get these I don't know what I would buy - probably just give up walking...
