More uses than one

I have used this chair to turn a cooler into a nicer chair, make a kayaking seat more comfortable, throw down as just a butt pad when something is wet, and use as a pad for kneeling on concrete. It is super convenient and takes up almost no room in the car. For the price I bought 2 and constantly find it being used. If you are really overweight I could see this product not being comfortable but I have had no quality or comfort issues.

Does The Trick

Obviously not a replacement for a good chair of you’re trying to nap at the beach or in the backyard, but a solid value buy for car camping trips and outdoor concerts. Doesn’t seem like it’s as high quality or durable as other brands, but super solid for the price!

Good!

Bought it on sale. So far its a good buy! Lightweight and great for taking camping or to the football games. Id keep it strapped at a 90-degree angle like a regular chair.... any larger of an angle will make it pretty flimsy. So no lazy boy comfort

backpacking, beach, ball games

I bought this chair for an upcoming vacation and backpacking trips. I didn't read the dimensions, and I've gotta say, this seat seems really really wide. Luckily the material is pretty malleable so I think it will still be fine for packing into the backcountry. Overall pretty satisfied.

Bleacher Chair

This was bought to make high school bleachers tolerable during many basketball games. It is light and easy to pack around. I like the simplicity of it, you don't have to latch it or set it up, it's ready to go and is definitely more comfortable than a bare bleacher. It doesn't breathe well, that's the only downside. Worth the money, 100%

Best piece of camping gear i have!

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

After a 13 mile hike into the back country i was absolutely thrilled to have this item! There was nothing more relaxing than having a "cushy" seat with a great back rest while deep in the mountains. In our group of six, five had chairs and trust me, i wouldn't want to be the friend who doesn't have one on a trip like that!

Nice inexpensive seat

Good seat for the money. We purchased two of these to use as seating for our young kids in our canoe. So far it has worked ok good.

ALPS Mountaineering Weekender Camp Seat

Surprisingly supportive. The mesh pocket is an added bonus that I use a lot that I didn't think much of when I purchased.

Comfort On the Go

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I keep this thing around for many occasions, and its done the job for all of them so far. From concerts, to crags, its always nice to have a little something extra for ultimate relaxation. Nothing fancy, but a good value for the amount of use I put it through.

Very nice construction for less than competitors should last a while.

Back rest!

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

From summer concerts to campgrounds this chair gets it done. it isn't the smallest, lightest or the most comfortable, but it is much better than sitting on a log are anything that doesn't offer back support. Good value for what it is.

Better than a rock

A little floppy side to side but overall a great travel seat for a great price. The retainer buckles underneath have been subject to a lot of abuse and haven't broken yet.

Anywhere Chair

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

This seat goes anywhere. Easy to pack and a pleasure to use. Used it on a row boat for support this summer and on a field during kids games. I've also used it at the stadium during the games at the school.

good, lightweight seat

satisfied with these seats. We have used them for two outdoor concerts so far, and they seem pretty sturdy (and we are not small people!). I think they will last quite a while. they are very light - easy to carry.

A Little Better Than the Ground

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

The title of this review about sums it up—it's a little better than the ground. For backpacking, its weight and packability serve a purpose, but leaning against a tree or your pack might be equally comfortable. But hey, the price on these are pretty good, so there's that. I'd recommend these to someone interested in thru-hiking, but if you're a car camper, you could do better. One small complaint is that the design folds the chair back down when not in use, so it's a little hard to get situated in dark settings. Another would be that the low position makes it difficult to warm yourself by some fire pits. However, it's a versatile piece, cheap and pretty easy to pack. So yeah, it's better than the ground.

Sit Back and Relax

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I wanted a chair that was easy to carry, easy to pack, and easy to use. This one has nothing to it really but is exactly what I was looking for! It's lightweight and will pack virtually anywhere. I'm looking forward to using it by the campfire - pass the marshmallows!
