My first tent
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Weight:
- null
I love to price, very easy to set up, less than 10 minutes in the dark. It is roomy inside, I like the little pockets all over. It definitely needs ground cover before you set it up because there is enough room between the tent and the fly for creepy crawlies to cover the mesh when you wake up. It could use more ventilation, I know that conflicts with rain protection. I used it on a 50 deg night and woke up with a lot of condensation inside the fly cover the next morning. That makes it difficult to wake up and quickly break down and head out on a multi-day trip since the thing needs to dry on both sides. It has one large vent close to the peak of the tent, but it was not enough, so "almost perfect" for my first tent.
