    Cold-slaying assassin.

The Airblaster Women's Merino Ninja Suit places all other baselayers in a chokehold and makes them cry for mercy. Whether you're a femme-fatale freestyler or an apprentice learning the ropes of the alpine dojo, you will appreciate the wonderful warmth, superior moisture management, and funk-fighting skill set of the miraculous merino wool fibers and fabulous four-way stretch Lycra material.

Merino wool is renowned for its insulating properties, extremely soft feel, and natural odor resistance, and it's blended with a touch of Lycra for extra stretch so you can move freely. The fit is next-to-skin to help it wick moisture more efficiently, and the cut is women's-specific for comfort. A seven panel form-fitting hood covers up your dome on extra cold days and thumb holes in the cuffs prevent snow from getting in your sleeves. There's no need to worry about what happens if you need to use the bathroom when you're at the mountain—a 350° waist zipper makes it easy to take care of business without having to completely undress.

    My favorite cold weather layer

    • Size Bought: Large
    • Height: 5'6"
    • Weight: 170lbs

This is essential for mid winter, miserable, cold days. Its my go-to in anything lower than 32 degrees. I don't notice an itch from the wool but I usually don't with any of my other merino layers. I did get a small hole in the leg when I tried to pull it up higher and it has now stretched to a large hole. No big deal, but kind of annoying. That is the only reason for four stars instead of five.

    Written by my wife;

My super rad husband bought this merino onsie for me for my birthday. Although it's june and 90 degrees I know this is going to be perfect for high alpine camping and hiking. I wore this to bed the other night and have'nt had any issues with itching or scratchiness and compared to other merino's from premium brands this is much thicker and not see-through. It's more of a midweight and the xs fit great for me. I am normally a true small but found that the length in the arms and legs would be too long so I sized down.

zip from neck to belly button and zip from hip to hip make this a product that is easy to jump in and out of. Overall I already know that this is going to be my new favorite camp and hut trip outfit. I might need another color...

    Could be better

First time I wore it I noticed the itch, but I either got over that or it doesn't itch after you wear it and wash it a few times.
Also the leg ripped open the first time I tried it on, not a big deal, but not what you want your gear to do. So it's not the toughest product.

However, it does keep me nice and warm. I like the hood. The best feature is the zippers for easy restroom access!

All and all I like it, but it could be better.

    I expected more

Not as warm as advertised and it is itchy.
Also, It is disproportional with too long torso - leaves wrinkles around waist, too long sleeves- also wrinkly on arms even rolled up, and too short legs - only covers 1/2 of calf. Looks pretty, but can't use it.

    Good but...

Okay so I was supperrr stoked on the Ninja Suit. I finally did it and bought one. I love the idea of this! And I definitely am not straying away from the Ninja Suit, the wool however, I don't think I can do it.

It's super warm, and the fit is fun, it was almost legging tight on the legs and loosely fitted on the upper body. The bathroom zipper- KILLER. Especially for those POW days in the trees when you just can't justify hitting the lodge for the bathroom.

One problem- it was itchy!! Merino wool is pretty good these days, and this was supperrr close to being perfect- scary close. But there was this minor itch that I kept being reminded of throughout the day. I really only paid attention to it inside, not so much skiing. It's not unbearable and I'm still considering keeping it so it's obviously not horrible.

Maybe I'm crazy, maybe I'm sensitive, or maybe wool is just not for me .

    Close! But no cigar...

    Amazing warmth and comfort

I like to see reviews before I buy something unknown to me, and there weren't any for this Merino wool Ninja Suit onesi yet but I had been looking for a onesi/one-piece long underwear for a while.... since this one was Merino wool, thus having the most promise for warmth, I bought it. It is not the most inexpensive of the onesi's out there -- but it is worth EVERY PENNY!! Hard to believe I'm so enthusiastic about long underwear, lol! But I spend all day outside on a farm and am always cold despite bundling up... and, I ride horses and can't wear something like the warm one piece Carhartts, so this type of long underwear has been on my wishlist. Yay :)

I'm probably between a small and a medium, but I got the medium because I didn't want something too tight or form-fitting, as a little "room" seems to be warmer as it traps the warm air. The medium fits me great. The Merino wool is thin, stretchy and super soft - I had NO ITCHINESS at all wearing it all day, I was surprised. Soft, no itch = super comfortable.

I wore it for the first time yesterday...granted, only one time so far...but it was a very windy, cold day (high 20's F with a strong wind, so I'd say more like low teens)so it was a pretty good test. I was perfectly warm. The one-piece long underwear concept is that there are no gaps for air or wind to get to you, and that is precisely what makes me cold. I put my socks on over the bottom of the Ninja Suit too. I didn't use the hood yet (MORE warmth!) but I tried it and like the rest of the Ninja suit it fit and felt great for when I will need it.

I used the thumb loops to keep my hands and wrists further protected from wind and air. And perhaps the best things about the Ninja Suit was the very well-designed 360 degree zipper for bathroom runs. No awkwardness in its use or design, bonus!

I highly recommend this to anyone looking for easy, comfortable warmth during any winter activity.

    Good design

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size

I have a number of items in merino wool and I would rate this as average in the wool department. It's slightly scratchy. I prefer my Icebreaker or Ibex for a smoother feel. The construction and design of the piece is well thought out however. It makes a great layer when a lot of warmth is needed. The design is pretty unique and functional. I'd recommend it. In terms of fit, if you're an average build I think the sizing guide should be fine. I'm rather busty (34FF) which makes most athletic clothing a little bit of a trial to get the right fit on top.
