Storm days were made for the Airblaster Access Jacket and its 30K waterproof shell
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"I wore the Access Jacket through a full week of storm skiing last season and it held up to every inch of it without letting a drop through. The pit vents are a feature I never want to go without on a technical shell at this price point, and the removable powder skirt seals everything out when the snow is chest deep without getting in the way on days when you just want to move freely."
The resort map is somewhere in your pocket but you stopped checking it two runs ago. Storm light, untracked snow, and the kind of day that justifies every early alarm and long drive to get here. The Airblaster Access Jacket was built for exactly this, a no-compromise technical shell wearing a 90s oversized silhouette that moves as well as it looks and performs well past what the price tag suggests it should.
Airblaster wrapped this jacket in their Eco-Vortex 2L laminate, a fully recycled outer shell rated to 30,000mm waterproofing and 20,000g/m² breathability, fully seam taped throughout and finished with a PFC-free Rudolph Biofinish Eco-DWR treatment that sheds snow and rain without the environmental cost of traditional waterproofing chemistry. A YKK Aquaguard® waterproof center front zipper keeps the storm out at the most vulnerable point of the jacket, and pit vents give rapid heat release when the skin track or the mogul field starts generating serious output. The one-handed adjustable hood with a laminated brim locks down over a helmet fast, the removable powder skirt seals the hem against spindrift and deep snow on storm days, and elastic cuffs with thumb loops keep the sleeve sealed against the glove on every reach and plant. Laminated pocket flaps and welded bar tacks round out a construction package that takes durability as seriously as performance.
