Keeping our mitts warm and our drop-bar rides even warmed is the 45nrth Draugenklaw Drop Bar Pogie. These over-bar mitts are purpose-built for the cold and nasty weather we see on our daily commutes or hero rides out in the cold. The water and wind-resistant outer shell deters the cold from seeping in while soft fleece on the interior traps heat in chilly conditions.

I grew up with a father that used a product called hippo hands by vetter. When I saw these for drop bars , I had to try them. I find that I don't need gloves, I have easy access to controls and a storage for small things like gloves. People ask if my hands would get stuck? But they are quite natural feeling, and the reflective stripes are helpful since the poggies and of block how my light is mounted. If they weren't so warm I'd like them almost all year. I have given then as gifts to friends who have cold hands always.

45nrth missed the mark - buyer beware -
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
They fit mechanical levers but not SRAM hydro... The bottom opening is also too tight around grippy/thick road tape like Lizard skins. QBP missed the mark for modern drivetrains. I wish I would have read the reviews at REI BEFORE purchasing from my LBS. Oh, well, they fit two of my bikes, just not my everyday bike....

The pictures are on flat handlebars. Can this be used for both drops and flats?
