SB140 T1 TLR GX/X01 Eagle 29in Carbon Wheels Mountain Bike

Whether we’re heading out for a few lunch laps or hitting trail features we previously thought were unrideable, the new Yeti SB140 Lunch Ride is down to shred. Built from Yeti’s recently refined ultra-light TURQ series carbon layup, the SB140 LR strikes the perfect balance between frame flexibility and torsional stiffness, providing us with a ride that is dependable, responsive, and ready to take some big hits. 140mm of rear travel is supported by a Fox Factory Float DPS rear shock and the Switch Infinity rear linkage system for an impressive amount of traction for loose, dusty climbs, moss-covered rocky descents, and everything in between. Thanks to this unique rear suspension design, the SB140 LR is also almost completely pedal bob-free for long spans in the saddle. Yeti’s engineers made some geometry upgrades too with 29-inch wheels, as well as size-specific chainstays and seat tube angles so for a playful, agile ride across the entire size range. A slack 65-degree angle and 160mm fork provide responsive handling and copious amounts of travel to soak up big hits on new features.

The new SB140 LR T1 GX/X01 Eagle kit focuses on performance with a combination of a reliable drivetrain, carbon wheels, and Fox Factory-level suspension. This build is smartly spec’d with a combination of SRAM X01 and GX 12-speed components for durability where we need it and weight savings where it counts. The 160mm Fox Factory 36 fork sports the GRIP2 damper for seemingly endless adjustability letting us dial in our suspension just the way we like it, and a set of SRAM Code RSC 4-piston brakes have both reach and contact point adjustments so we can modulate our speed with precision as we bob and weave through our favorite gnarly rock garden. Lightweight DT Swiss EXC 1511 carbon wheels keep us rolling over just about anything in our way and help dampen trail vibrations so we can ride longer. Every size is also spec’d with a long Fox Factory Transfer dropper post so we don’t have to worry about saddle snags when we’re working on cleaning our next big line.
