Ready to crush the climb and send every drop on the downhill, the redesigned Yeti SB140 is truly a one-bike quiver. Thanks to 140mm of Switch Infinity rear travel and a Fox Factory Float DPS rear shock, the SB140 climbs almost as efficiently as our favorite XC bike and excels on tricky technical downhills with its impressive traction capabilities. The time-tested C/Series carbon layup has been refined to perfectly balance torsional stiffness and frame flex so we’re left with an extremely strong frame that is also super responsive. Yeti’s engineers took it one step further and developed a geometry with size-specific chainstays and seat tube angles ensuring a consistent ride feel across the entire size range. It also now comes with big 29-inch wheels to roll over just about anything we come across while a 150mm fork and 65.4-degree headtube angle crush through rocks and roots with precision.

The new Yeti SB140 C2 GX Eagle Factory kit is a trail-machine that prioritizes performance over flashy looks. Starting with the 12-speed SRAM GX drivetrain, we get crisp shifts every time, even in chunky terrain and a wide gear range built for climbing fast and descending even faster. A 150mm Fox Factory 36 fork gives us plenty of bump-busting travel up front that can also withstand almost any side hits we find along the way. The 29-inch Crank Brothers Synthesis Enduro wheelset is built to withstand pretty much anything we throw at it, and it is also tuned for maximum grip on the front wheel and high-speed stability on the rear wheel so we don’t get bucked off our line in sections of rocks and roots. A dual-density downtube protector helps fend off kicked-up rocks and dings from botched lines, while a long OneUp dropper post on every size eliminates the dreaded saddle snag when we’re tackling big features.
