Sprang > Paramount
Bought every color because of the comfort. Loved the paramount pants but these pants take the wheel. They have that light tactical feel. Perfect for a hike, light or durable work attire, comfortable under waders, great for layering. They cut wind a little better than the paramount pants too.

Good pants for tall guys.
I enjoy these pants. They have been my go to for work and the weekend. They would be 5 stars if they kept the same design as last year. I liked the pocket design and last year's model fit just a bit more snug in the waist, but overall a great pant. I am 6'5" and enjoy the long size offered in these pants.

Worth it
These five-pocket Sprag pants are by far the most useful in my entire wardrobe and a perennial staple. The cut is great for my body (6' 1.5", 225 lbs athletic muscular build), but the are also easy to tailor if needed. I have worn these on backpacking trips, to the office, skiing, and after a long day have fallen asleep in them.

Great, except the waist line doesn't stretch like the rest of the pants. Why not?

My favorite pants
I bought my first pair of these pants at the outlet store when I was taking my daughter to college. Now I am slowly getting every color available. Hopefully The North Face keeps producing these. They are comfortable with just the right amount of rise and length. I have big legs so finding pants that are not skin tight but also not baggy is tough. The material makes these versatile for all kinds of uses.

Fit too slim in the legs for a fifty year old.
Bought two pairs to use for work and travel. Stretch material is great. Dries quickly. Fairly true to size and comfortable. I'm 54 years old and would have given a 5 star rating except the pants are a bit slim in the legs, and I'm a fit guy who is always being accused of having chicken legs. I purchased the pants based on the pictures. On the models, the pants don't look slim fit, but they are.

Eh. Pain to get the size right. Had to wait for my credit.
Too short. I had to return the first time because the waist was too big. Now the let is a touch too short, but not worth going through the hassle of returning it. If I get the regular length, then I'll probably have to pay to have them hemmed. Like the stretchiness of the pants, they're comfortable. I had a rewards credit, i had to wait to get that credited back to my account to order a new pair, so the whole process was annoying.
