Sizing and changes in construction
the old pair is much heavier construction but like so many other things, the updated version is not the same. I wish they would not change a tried-and-true product. This is much lighter construction. Time will tell. For now, they are comfortable. The sizing is also a full size smaller and had to return a 9 for a 10. I will say that the online return didn't work for this return as it was purchased on a special sale originally, But the phone interaction with Teva customer service was exemplary. 5 stars for their customer service. .

Light and easy walking flip flops
These are my third set of Teva flip flops, with the first pair lasting close to 20 years made from rubber with nylon straps (I could swear they might have been tougher than tires on my car). The second pair had some pretty durable rubber soles with a leather foot bed and leather /cloth straps, and lasted about 6 years, before I broke the straps. That's when I purchased the Voya Flip Leather. They are much lighter than the last two pairs I have owned, and are very comfortable. The weight makes it nearly effortless to wear them, and the sole is very soft and quiet when walking in the house. So far, I am very pleased with them!
