Why We Like The Swiftwick Aspire Five Sock
Once we tried performance socks, we knew no ordinary sock would ever cut it again. The Swiftwick Aspire Five Sock is a performance cycling and running sock with firm compression and an ultra-lightweight construction to bring maximum comfort and performance. The thin profile makes it feel like we aren't even wearing socks, and the breathable fabric keeps our feet dry and comfortable all day.

Good socks with a caveat
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Like the previous reviewer, I will echo the same opinion that these are at the sweet spot of cuff length. The caveat: I was expecting the Aspire Four but with a longer cuff, however, the material on these is much lighter. The description says these are double cuff, however, it doesn't feel like they are. The Four had a nice compression to them but these do not. It's not a deal breaker for me but it might be for others. As a reference point, these are similar to the Rapha Lightweight socksl.

Finally the perfect length Aspires!
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I've ridden in Aspire Four socks for years, but always felt they were a bit too short for the coverage I was looking for, but the Sevens were too long. Enter the Aspire Fives! These hit my calf in just the right spot to protect against nasty sagebrush run-ins while still allowing for a gap between my socks and knee pads. I just hope Swiftwick drops more colors in these soon.
