Whether we're shredding through aspens or taking a swig on the chairlift, we value a first layer that emphasizes our warmth. We made this techy baselayer top to strike the essential balance between on-mountain comfort and performance. Merino wool adds soft warmth that keeps the fabric smelling fresh after long mountain days, while nylon increases the durability of the fabric and doubles down on the ability to wick away moisture.

Great Baselayer for any temp!
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- Medium
- Height:
- 5' 3"
This shirt is true to size. I was 33-34 weeks pregnant when I wore mine initially and I ordered a medium to cover my torso/belly but sleeves were still right length. I wore it skiing with a nano puff vest and my gortex shell. It kept me warm and dry! Temps varied from 3 degrees and blowing on day one to blue skies and 28 degrees by the end of the weekend. I felt the shirt was perfect for the whole weekend. My biggest compliment to the shirt is how it kept me dry and odor free! Most shirts will eventually just feel damp but this shirt stays dry!

Comy and Performs
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I was looking for something lightweight for 20 to 30-degree temps while being outside and active. The way this is made is very comfortable, no sore spots from seams, and love the added thumb hole to pull it all the way forward. I wore this on a day where temps ranged from low 30s to all the way up into the low 50s, certainly didn't need long underwear, but they performed admirably. While I was warm, I never sweated and the top stayed dry and I was never chilly after temps dropped into the freezing range again. Really love this base layer!
