Great value.
I’ve had this bike rack for years. It’s not super heavy like some racks and the bikes feel secure. Love the locking pin. Easy to use. Only thing I’d change are the gray knobs. I’ve lost a few and can’t find replacements. Rack is still functional though.

Freedom 2
I bought this rack a year ago. The first time we used it one of the wheel trays broke. Contacted support and they sent me one to replace it. Same thing happened last week - a wheel tray broke. This time support will not do anything - even though the rack is still under warranty. Support rep stated "Unfortunately, we would not be able to send this under warranty since wheel trays are not covered". So obviously they know these wheel tray's are poorly constructed - since they are not covering them under the warranty. We have used the rack less then 10 times in less than a year, and already 2 of the wheel trays have broken. I highly advise to stay away from this rack or any of the racks that use these wheel trays since they will break and you will be replacing them at your own expense.

Doesn’t fit full sized mtbs
Great rack and significantly cheaper than competitors but this model doesn’t fit a full 29in medium frame bike.

Could use a longer strap for ebikes
Could use a longer strap for ebikes and maybe faster response time instead of several days but the product is good

Excellent workmanship!
I purchased the Freedom 2 after another biker recommended it. They had owned their's for seven years. Right out of the box I could tell it was very well made. It looks great on our Outback and is very solid and stable. Customer service is top notch!

Functional & Affordable
After researching many options, I am very satisfied with my purchase of this bike rack. It is easy to attach and remove from the hitch, not too bulky, well made and sturdy. My bike remained stable and secure even while driving down the interstate and through 50 MPH wind gusts. Highly recommend!

Wide Variety of Bikes - Check your fat bike wheel
I had this rack for a few years, replacing a roof rack prior. It is very good, works with a wide variety of bikes, and I have never had an issue with scratching of a bike frame during transport. Only miss - I have since gotten into fat biking and a) had to purchase the larger tire base, and b) after doing so, realized my wheelbase is over 48 inches. The rack is 2-3 inches too narrow to hold my bike. Trying to buy a replacement bar to widen it right now.

Light but stable
First bike rack purchased and wanted a platform hitch rack. So far, very stable and easy to use. Only wish it would fold ups when not in use, then I'd give 5 stars.

I have an older Freedom 2 bike rack, purchased circa 2014. I recently lost the hitch adapter for it during a move and would like to know if your replacement adapter will work for the rack?

I have an older version of the Freedom 2 hitch rack, maybe 10 years old or so. I got an ebike last year, and have not had to transport it anywhere, but will need to soon. Could I still use my current rack, or do I need to get a new one? My ebike is 55lbs

How do I take off the “pull” handle with spring loaded pin allowing the vertical support to fold down? I broke the tube frame holder and have replacement, but I can’t slide it over and can’t figure out how to remove the pin…please help.

I am considering purchasing an e-bike. I am not sure of the model of e-bike yet and am concerned about the weight distribution on this rack. It says on the website I can accommodate two bikes weighing 60 lbs each. Will your rack work?

I have a freedom 2 bike rack and only your website reports it is able to carry bike at 60lbs each. However every where in Australia reports it is limited to 35lbs each, which is correct ?

Can I purchase a new bolt from you that secures the rack to my hitch? After 100’s of off & on, the bolt head has become quite sharp & cuts my fingers.

The frame latch holder broke away before the nut and bolt on the down tube. I have been told that this is not replaceable because of the molding process? Is this true? We would have to figure a way to strap this part of our bike to the down tube if not.
