Comfy and Warm

I have size 5.5 feet and I tried the 5 (in blue) and 6 (in cream) I ended up keeping the size 5 just based on the amount of use I expect to do this season. Both boots' colours matched the picture. I've used it 4 full days now and its great! You do have to re-tighten it after a couple of runs but thats to be expected with any boa boots.

Love the Ivy Boa SJ

I'm going in on my 2nd pair now, the first lasted 7 years and tbh are still ok to wear although boas loosen up and need to be tightened each run. But I am hard on these boots. As a CASI 1 instructor they are comfortable for all day wear, but when I tighten up all 3 systems, I am locked and loaded for anything the eastern mountains throw at me.

Disappointed

My current pair of snowboard boots is an old Salomon Pearl Boa and I love it. It's extremely comfortable and durable. I bought an Ivy Boa pair this season and after 1 ride I returned it. I'm very disappointed. After every single run, I had to tight again the boots. The fit is really uncomfortable, the position looks like a ski boot where you are projected to the front. So I was not able to straighten my knees while not snowboarding (awaiting lift, for example) and this position is very tiring. Internally, the quality is still pretty good and it has a comfortable material. Luckily I didn't sell my old pair, and I will keep it until to find another similar comfortable fit and good quality.

Poor quality

This is the third pair I’ve owned and the quality has really dropped. Previous pairs I’ve managed to do 100-150 days on them. This recent version has at best had 20 days and already part of the boa has fallen off. After a couple of runs you’ll need to stop as rarely do the boas stay tight enough. The fit is really uncomfortable, I oddly find my ski boots more comfy :( , even with the help of my local snowboard shop. Disappointing as Salomon used to be the boot for snowboarders with slim feet and would last a season. If you want a boot that performs and leaves you with happy feet I wouldn’t recommend this current version.
