I wish I had bought the Koda first instead of the Fyra.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was a great relief to stop using the Fyra and switch to the Koda. Fyra was extremely frustrating to try to reguate temperature while trying to make pizza. Also glad to get rid of smoke, soot and general messiness of the Fyra.

Constant mess up with igniter or keeping it lit

Love My Ooni Oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family loves the pizza we make with our Koda. Obviously everyone likes different styles of pizza, but we love that we can easily get a nice crisp crust. Oven is easy to use - the hardest part for me is finding the right spot to turn it down to after putting the pizza inside, but that just takes a little trial and error.

Love my new pizza oven!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There is no comparison between cooking a pizza in the oven and these pizza ovens. Restaurant quality pizza. My only tip is to pre cook your dough for one minute prior to adding toppings. My first attempt with the oven involved me slinging sauce all over the place. The larger oven is probably worth the additional investment, but I wanted something portable. I have been making my own pizza and dough for years, so I am pretty experienced with pizza making. :-). Other than the challenge of inserting the pizza in the small mouth of the oven, it's perfection! Also, watch the Youtube videos. Lots of great tips!

Great pizza oven. Takes a

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great pizza oven. Takes a little getting used to the high temps so you don't burn the pizza, but that's just a learning curve with anything new. Pizza oven is easy to use and cooks great pizza!

Do not buy the Koda 12

The Koda 12 is too small. The back burns before the front cooks enough to turn the pizza. I liked my old model but I gave it away. I am an experienced pizza maker and I hate it.

Awful pizza oven

Hands DOWN the worst cooking device I’ve ever used. We’ve had the pizza oven for 3 years now and every single time the pizza has been messed up. The Oven doesn’t heat the stone properly near opening. The pizza doesn’t cook and stays sticky and then the pizza pizza peel can’t get under the uncooked dough to pull the pizza out in any semblance of a pizza or with ANY urgency. Then the pizza peel is too large and you can’t even turn the pizza properly to get the other side to cook.

It’s not that good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The problem with this is the flames are only on one side and it’s not a true oven. The brick on the bottom is too thin and doesn’t retain enough heat. If you turn it down to even half power the brick cools too much and the bottom stays very pale, and if you keep it on high it burns the top in seconds. The larger oven has the flames around and that’s probably a much better system.

Perfect pizzas every time!

I have both the wood and gas models. Had friends over last night and made a few pizzas. I used a weight watcher version dough for my wife and a mozzarella tomato pesto pizza with balsamic glaze, and they both came out 100% perfect.
