Great vest
Great vest. Low profile and fits well as a part of my layering system for the backcountry.

Very cozy
I have had this vest for over 5 years. I love it. Fits perfect. Washes well. Zipper pockets are great for holding loose stuff.

Sloppy, very sloppy workmanship...
Companies that decide to go abroad with the intent of producing products cheaper, have the obligation to their company and, especially, to the customers to ensure that the products being produced meet certain standards of quality. Unfortunately this is not the case with the Mountain Hard Wear vest I received from Backcountry... the zipper was not centered in the front of the vest and the arm opening on the right side was substantially larger than the left side. This created a pronounced pucker on the chest area and a crease on the abdominal area. I lost all confidence in Mountain Har Wear and will not buy their products in the future.
