Wow!

I've got a couple of Merrell's and these are my favorite ones. I can't believe the insane grip on these. I actually use them to serve in a restaurant I work at. Super cool looking and very versatile. I've received so many compliments in the Fruit Punch color.

Best Merrell shoe yet!

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

These are some rugged little tires for your hiking feet! I've never been a huge fan of Merrell, as I've always found them to be too narrow, too soft, and not typically Goretex. These shoes have made me a believer! Stiff enough soles with large lugs to really give you grip and stability on trails. Super lightweight, and great for running or hiking! I wear a 7.5, and went with the 7. Perfect!

Great shoe, but wide

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I demo'd these and you can tell just by picking them up and inspecting them that the build is fantastic. They're lightweight with a gore-tex liner yet remain breathable. They won't work for me however because the tow box is pretty wide and I have narrow feet. I would recommend these for women with wider feet looking for a good trail shoe.

Well Done Merrell

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I love how sturdy these are. They translate well from the trail to pavement. They're lightweight but still provide plenty of support. I'm excited to feel them form to my feet as they're still a bit stiff. I went with a size 7, which is true to my street shoe size, and it's been great!

Solid and dependable

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I have been using these for winter trail running. They breath well, are comfortable and supportive. I went with this model as the men's option just fit too large. Colors are solid and stylish. The Gore-Tex materials kept my feet dry.

Trusty

These are great! High stability from the serious tread and generous foot-bed. The Gore-Tex held up well during a very misty hike around Big Sur. Would recommend!

Good shoes!

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I took these on a volunteer trip to Indian creek recently! We were digging post holes and setting fencing all day and these were an awesome support and pretty comfortable! I really liked them, I used them only a little for hiking to a crag in Moab but not enough to have a super strong opinion one way or the other! Overall good shoe and I liked them a lot! Colors are super bright! I wear a street size 6 and wore a size 5 in these. I wore them with smartwool hiking socks and they fit well!

Happily Surprised!

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I used these shoes on a one night backpacking trip in Moab. In October. In the rain. I was a little worried that the Gore-Tex lining would not be high enough up the shoe to keep out all the water, but they did great. Feet stayed dry, and even after the rain ended, the shoes handled the mud well too! Dry the whole time and minimal slipping in the 3 inches of mud we were trekking through at times. I also walk heavy on my heels and even with with extra weight, they held up fine. I wold recommend these to anyone looking for a low profile but functional hiking shoe or hiking/trail running hybrid
