If you and your XC-leaning trail bike enjoy testing the limits of your 125mm suspension, you know the right tire can go a long way. Not sure what the person below experienced with the one star review. The Rekon 2.6 on the rear of my Devinci Troy rolls fast, has reasonable grip, and loses grip in a very playful, predictable manner. Pretty light for it's size. The extra volume allows for a nice margin of error with poor line choices. No durability issues thus far. It's seen everything from mellow trails to the bike park in both dusty and wet conditions. Doesn't brake as well as a HRII or DHRII... but it rolls much better. Want a light tire that rolls fast and is the widest you can throw on a non-plus bike? This is it. More excited for the downhill and care less about weight? Get a DHF/DHR/HRII.
