Why We Like The Trestles Elite Eco 0 Sleeping Bag
The Trestles Elite Eco 0 Sleeping Bag is a fully recycled version of one of the most popular synthetic bags on the market, which also happens to be Marmot's top of the line synthetic bag, the Trestles Elite. The Eco does not skimp on warmth, comfort, or pack-ability despite the recycled products. The HL-ElixR Eco insulation traps body heat with impressive loft, retains loft when wet to keep you warm, and packs down to a compact and lightweight size. Additionally the ripstop outer can handle abrasions and normal wear and tear, while the soft taffeta lining makes sure the bag is comfortable next to skin.
This 0 degree rated bag is a great option for shoulder season camping in mountainous areas or as a car camping pack for mid winter nights spent at trail heads. Weighing in at over 4 pounds in the long and just under 4 pounds in the regular allows this bag to be used on shorter backpacking missions or weekend camping with ease.

Warm but not great zipper
The bag is warm. I like the inner pocket for my phone. One flaw: the zipper will not stay zipped up. It opens up some if I move around. My Western Mountaineering sleeping bag has Velcro at the top of the zipper to hold the bag closed. Marmot should add this very inexpensive feature.

WAY TOO NARROW
Beautiful bag and the footbed is fantastic. But WAY TOO NARROW in the shoulders. Couldn't even zip it up - felt claustrophobic. I am 6'3" and large but not heavy., so was surprised it didn't fit. My chest = 48"; with arms down = 54.5" Rest of the bag was great - length etc. Very disappointed

Bought the "Long" off at the shoulder dimension
I'm 6'2 and bought the "long" version. it's cut very narrowly through the knees but still, has plenty of room, and the toe box is great. it fits great through the hips and waist but the shoulder is a problem. 100% not the stated 152cm I had to unzip both sides and just use the chest bib with gloves. super disappointed that sleeping bags cannot be returned to Sport Chek (online order)

I really wanted to like this sleeping bag.
I have no doubt that this sleeping bag would be warm and at this price point, I was very happy to trade off a bit of weight. However, I found the bag extremely tight at the shoulders. It was tight to zip the bag up and too tight for me to cross my arms across my chest. I'm not a big guy by any estimation. The heights seemed to be very good. We have Marmot sleeping bags for my children and they're very good. We like the brand.

Excelent
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this bag in the Aconcagua mountain camps, the highest camp was at 6000 meters above sea level, temperatures around -15 and -25 degrees Celsius. Excellent quality. To increase its temperature I used a liner. It does not compress so much. Its weight is ok. But overall very good sleeping. I recommend it.

Nice bag, great loft, a bit snug.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried testing this bag last week during a Montana trip but the overnight low was only in the 40s, so I roasted and switched to a lighter bag for the rest of the trip. I'm 6' 5", 215 lb and found the bag to be a bit snug; but "roomy" translates to a bulkier, heavier bag - and I don't want that either. I really like the foot box construction and look forward to using this bag this fall when temps dip again.

Great value cold weather bag
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I now own three of these bags. After I purchased the first two, I liked them so much better than my other “cold weather” bag that I bought another. They are great for winter backpacking in Michigan. Although they don’t compress as well or weigh as little as expensive down bags, they are relatively light and pack well. They are quite comfortable when used in weather below 20 degrees. The toe box has plenty of room, the baffles are well positioned to retain heat, and the additional small zipper on the opposite side of the main zipper allows you to get both arms out easily when you need to grab something from the tent corner pocket. If I needed a fourth bag for cold weather, I would certainly buy another.

Perfect for the price point
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a built-out truck and use this sleeping bag to camp in it in the winter. I have never been cold, despite sleeping in negative-degree temps at times. While this sleeping bag is perfect for my purposes, it is bulky and huge. It's great for car camping because I never have to hike anywhere with it, but I would never use it backpacking.

Worth it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I tend to sleep hot, this bag kept me warm well below the comfort ratings. I highly recommend this sleeping bag.

I recommend this bag. Best bag that I have camped
I recommend this bag. This is the best bag that I have camped in. In a tent, it was comfortable at -8. This is me. Look at the very bottom where it says "Cover"
