Skier
Purchased at end of season so l have not skied with them yet. I am 6,3” and 210 lbs and the xl fits good with base layer. As others noted they are long and look to be well constructed.

Superb quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleasantly surprised with a quality and build. I went with size L (for my typical W32/L34), should've purchased size M. The length was great (even a bit extra), but waist was too wide.

Medium size is nice and long!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pants look and feel great! I’m tall at 6’2” and these mediums are nice and long. I sit on the chairlift and wow, my boots stay covered. What a concept! It’s way easier to shorten pants than add material to make them long enough to keep out the snow of alpine skiing. Nice work Marmot, great product, great fit!

Great pants.
The pants are great. Light weight and comfortable. My only critic is I couldn't find them in a shorter length. I had to pay to get them shortened by two inches. Not everyone is 6'3".

Nice material and a great fit
These pants are rad! They fit as described and the material is very comfortable and so far has been totally water proof. Love the orange color.

Hardshell benefits with the feel of a softshell
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been pleasantly surprised by these pants. They felt fairly lightweight and stretchy, so I wasn't sure how warm they'd be on our wonderful Michigan chairlift rides and 20 second runs. I'll say they've held up very well, kept me warm with only a baselayer underneath, and have been more durable than I expected skiing trees. One thing to note is they run long. I'm 6'1 230lbs and 38x32 or 34...these legs are super long! They're fine with ski boots on but I included a photo comparing them to my old TNF ski pants as well.

Warm, flexible, soft, comfortable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not a skier/snowboarder, bought these for a winter hiking in the Rocky Mountains and for the Sierra. They are lightly insulated, enough to be warm but not bulky. The material is soft, slightly flexible, not hard and "crispy". I like that they are quiet and easy to move around in. They are fairly slim-fitting, but there is an adjustable waistband. The only ding is the fact that Marmot doesn't make these with multiple inseam lengths: I wear a "short" inseam so I had them tailored.
