great color, comfy, fits well

My new down coat
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the exact coat I have been looking for...it is so cozy and warm and it came in one of my favorite colors. And it was on sale!! Very happy with my purchase and the quality of the item.

Super comfy and warm

Love this down fill coat. Only initial impression from trying it on so far but the inside is super soft, the coat is lightweight but very warm. It’s the perfect length, long enough to cover your bum and the mid thigh up but not too long where it might get in the way. It definitely runs on the smaller side, so order a size up from what you normally would wear, otherwise it will be way too tight. Especially if you are “chesty” at all. I’m 5’7”, 36DD and about 140lb, I ordered the large and it’s perfect! Can’t wait for cold weather to come back around to try it out for some camping/hiking trips.

soft and cozy warm

I don't know if the fabric is fragile. I wouldn't trust it to hold up if my dog were to jump on me. I've worn my coat twice and it feels warm and luxurious, good for temps in the twenties and below. The fit is on the snug side.

Almost perfect - outer material too thin

I just received this coat. It's quite a nice coat -- well-designed, seems warm, and is flattering. Unfortunately, as another reviewer said, the outer material is quite thin. It seems like it won't hold up. I'm kind of rough on my coats so I'm returning it for that reason.

Runs 2 sizes small!

The one I received must have been two sizes small as it didn’t even fit at shoulders. Looking at other reviews sizing must vary or there is not good quality control - Buyer beware!

Got a hole in less than 3 months

I purchased this coat for my daughter for Christmas and she liked it very much. Unfortunately, in just a couple of months, she had a hold in the seam near the neck. Backcountry.com has not been helpful about getting the coat replaced or refunded. I have contacted Marmot directly but no word from them either.
