Nordwand Knit High GTX
Extremely light, versatile boot that excels regardless of the task. Waterfall ice climbing in winter and alpine climbing in summer. Fits perfect and I feel like I can wear them all day long. The sizing is a bit bigger than expected. I am men's 8 1/2 to 9 US. The Nordwand Knit is cut high, keeps the snow out and kept my feet warm and dry.

Really happy with first impression
Gave these a go over 6 days in the Cascades. Performed very well on the glacier with Petzl crampons. Climbed well on rock (albeit felt like quite a wide boot). The "sock" makes them quite breathable. I haven't tested in extreme cold or wet.

These boots are excellent. I have only used them on 7 different occasions one alpine and am very pleased with how warm the boots were and the weight is nice and light allowing for days full of long approaches and hundreds of vertical feet of ice. Now to just upgrade my pants.

Ticks all the boxes
So I took a bit of a chance on these boots... it was either these or the new Scarpa Phantom Techs and I chose these mostly because of the incredible discount Mammut offers. I've climbed in these boots maybe a dozen times now. Mostly WI and a few bigger alpine routes. First off, the rockered sole makes them really nice to walk in. I found with rigid sole boots (like my nepal evos) it can be really straining on you feet and legs to walk longer distances in them. No issues with that here. They are also very very warm. With a vapor sock I has warm and dry feet down to -30 Celsius. So far the construction has held up really well, including the knit fabric which I thought would get shredded right away. I also really appreciated how light they are. All in all I would absolutely recommend this boot. They fit true-to-size and are pretty wide in the toe box with a high in-step.
