Light and functional
Used this rope for the Tetons Grand Traverse, super light and durable, and surprisingly resistant to tangling/knotting up. Can't wait to use it this winter for ice climbing and some alpine ski missions.

Mammut = Quality
Purchased a pair of Mammut 8.0 Alpine Dry Ropes for a recent trip to the Alps. They were used for glacier travel, alpine and rock climbing. As with all Mammut products they performed exactly as needed and encountered no issues with either rope for the duration of our trip. Mammut is steadily becoming my "go to" gear and apparel when heading into the mountains.

Seriously
Put "Twin rope" in the name or the description. I can't believe I have to order another one of these for it to ever be useful.

Great Rope, rock cut in half first day in the Bugs
Limited experience as rock fall destroyed the core at the midpoint. I Love these ropes though, they feel firm but subtle in your belays, they clip easy as they dont flop around. I have 3.5 of these ropes and I'd recommend for any twin set up, LFG!!!

These are great ropes ! I use mine for ice climbing, it is my second season climbing with them and they are still in great shape and still dry. I love that they are balanced in sturdiness and being not too heavy. I really enjoy using double ropes since it splits the weight to carry between the climbing party. I have found that if you are not cautious they can wrap into knots quite quickly but this is something that has happened to me with most ropes!

Best twin ropes I've had
I bought two 70m 8.0 ropes for a trip into the Alaska Range. These new ropes deserved to be beat up. Aside from using them for basic crevasse travel, my brother and I put them an 18 pitch classic on the Moose's Tooth. Through rock and ice, I never had a problem with them. No 'new rope toughness', no problems feeding, and any ice built up would come off easy as ever. In addition to being lightweight, having two contrasting colors; pink and green, made it very easy to remember which rope to pull on the rappel. I've got four small diameter Mammut Dry ropes now, I don't think I'll ever need for another.

Great twin ropes
I used this rope as a twin rope out in the Tetons and it remained dry and usable no matter the weather! While it is slightly annoying to carry two ropes, they were amazingly light weight and pack well. 10/10 for experts and intermediate climbers. I could easily see how it would be an amazing alpine rope. If you buy this rope, I advise buying a rope bag as well as you can likely fit two ropes into one.

I've been looking for a really good twin rope for a while and this one fits the bill. I've used it for both ice climbing and alpine climbing. Just having a twin rope in general has been very nice, as I've been able to split the load of the rope with my partner. The mammut dry treatment has done very well at keeping my rope from becoming water logged, and I haven't had any fraying whatsoever so far.
