    A classic grows up.

We've been guilty of waxing extensively about the artful construction of Lezyne pumps for years now, and frankly, we're not likely to stop anytime soon, especially if the brand continues to tempt us with such commendable designs. The Steel Drive Tall Floor Pump exemplifies the classic, clean style and lifetime durability we love about Lezyne, with a sleek aluminum body, smooth varnished wood handle, and versatile ABS2 technology that reliably attaches to both Presta and Shrader valves. Lezyne takes longevity seriously, using a steel barrel and piston and CNC-machined small parts that, if treated properly, will last you decades. The extra-long hose on this taller version of the regular Steel Drive suits taller riders and anyone looking to not be restrained by a short hose when inflating tires pre-ride, and the large gauge helps you read PSI without having to squat and squint.

    Solid pump

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I have had great luck with this pump so far. The valve locks on tight and the pressure gauge is easy to read. I really like how tall the pump is because it really pushes a lot of air in per pump.

    Dog shite

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

everything is great about this pump... except that connecting it to a quality tubular or inner tube is as likely to involve 20minutes, several deflations and a lot of swearing as it is to actually inflate your tire.

30+ years of various track pumps from the great classics (slick) to a 15 buck Schwin branded one and everything in-between, and they all worked at least well... until this turd. Save your money and buy a bargain one, or get the real deal with a Silca. I've never regretted a bike purchase more or had one piss me off more.

    Its the Cadillac of pumps

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Man I have never used such a nice pump in my life, I have had it for a year and the screw on valve and mirco adjust are great. I am not sure if it is because I am so stoked on it but I feel like you get a good amount of air per pump as well. 100% will only be buying another one when or if the time comes.

Died in the first I had it.

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

The head of the pump blew apart within the first week of having it. One of the internal pieces blew out as I was pumping up my tire and went missing. Seems like a decently built pump but the head design was defective on mine. The gauge is also a bit difficult to read.

My favorite pump, it's heirloom quality

The wood handle feels great in the hand while pumping. The dial is easy to read and bomber. The hose packs up tight for storage. It's super solid, I believe this is an heirloom piece of gear.
