    Very nice!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I had never heard of this brand. I did some research online, liked the blue and orange so I decided to try them.
Out of the box, I was surprised by the quality of the frames and liked the look. They fit me well. (I'm 5'7", 175 pounds) .
I hike, chainsaw, use them as safety glasses for other projects around the house. I wear them around town and in the house (because they are comfortable) which leads me to the next section.
The lenses are not dark. I'm not sure how much the lenses vary under very light and not-so-light conditions. However, they seem to block out enough light to make useful as long as it is not really bright outside.
The detachable parts are useful. I sweat a lot. I use the sweat band when hiking and it does a good job keeping sweat from accumulating on the inside of the glasses.
I have not scratched the lenses yet. They don't really fog up. Every time I clean the lenses, they look like brand new.

I wish they got a little darker in the bright light. However, they are my go-to glasses for any activity. I feel like I could be much harder on them and they would still hold up. I hope they last for many years to come.

    Better than goggles

Got these to hopefully replace goggles in my ski touring repertoire. I normally cannot function with sunglasses, as I have fairly sensitive eyes and the wind generated while skiing leaves me squinting terribly. I also sweat profusely while skinning, normally fogging up anything I'm wearing.

These solve both problems. They haven't fogged up on my while running, skinning, hiking, biking, even in warm temperatures and direct sunlight. They were also perfect for skiing, the lenses are quite something and adjust rapidly to changing light levels, and thank god for once they kept the wind out of my eyes. Love them! So nice to have one less piece of gear to fiddle with at transitions - I leave these alone on my head from skinning to skiing, no issues whatsoever.

    Photo What?

Yes photochromic meaning the lenses adjust to light, which makes them a great pair of glasses for trail running as the light is always changing. I also am a big fan of the bendable temple pieces so you can adjust them to fit perfectly. The side shields do snap on and off and I opted to take them off for running.

I have a small head and face so the glasses where a little big, but because of the adjustability they worked well.

    Tinker toys?

    • Fit: True to size

Yes but in a good way. Sweat band on the brow is very usefull as are the side shilds and retainer strap. Lens are simple amazing and anti fog that works. This is my one go to glass for everything out side from skiing to the bike.

Bad Fit but Zebra is the lens of choice

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: True to size

This particular model rode too high on my nose for my large face creating huge gaps under the lens. Absolutely would not work for glacier travel for me. However, the zebra lens is AWESOME for all things in the mountains. See my review on the Julbo Run page.
