The Jackson Zen Kayak finds the middle ground between the creek running prowess of the popular Karma creek boat, and the river running speed of the original Zen Kayak. The end result is an easy-to-roll boat that stays true to your line, hovers over boils, and carries plenty of down-river speed to get you out of drops and catchy eddy lines.

Plenty of rocker in the bow keeps this boat on top of the water, and its flared sidewalls make it great for beginners who are just learning how to roll in the pool. The redesigned hull allows it to effortlessly float through boils and eddys, so you stay true to your line. In terms of whitewater, the Zen comes with Jackson Kayak's Uni-shock bulkhead, which allows the paddler to make quick adjustments to the foot pad while seated, and it absorbs big impacts, saving the paddler's legs the brunt of the blow. An adjustable seat allows the paddler to dial in the perfect fit, and foam hip pads provide additional protection to the sides of the legs. The composite reinforced hull support is attached through the use of a special adhesive, resulting in a strong hull that won't oil can easily.
