Why We Like The Ibis Ripmo XX Eagle AXS Transmission Air Mountain Bike
From the efficient suspension design and climbing characteristics to its descending capabilities, there is much to love about the Ibis Ripmo. We love the Ibis Ripmo XX Eagle AXS Transmission Air Mountain Bike for its ability to be an all-around bike, capable of turning any trail into a fun one. The Ripmo features a full carbon frame, efficient 29-inch wheels, and a frame geometry that gets everything right. With 147mm of DW-Link suspension, this bike will excel on the climbs while feeling like there is more to give on the descents. A 64.9-degree headtube angle gets our front wheel out ahead of us for stability and confidence on the descents, and a steep 76-degree seat tube angle positions us upright and over the pedals for an efficient climbing platform. Ibis equipped the Ripmo with a downtube and chainstay protector to keep the bike silent and protected. Internal cable routing with molded internal carbon tubes ensures a clean-looking and convenient cable routing. Every size of Ibis Ripmo is equipped with 435mm chainstays for quick and snappy handling, and low seat tube lengths and standover heights allow riders of all sizes to get their perfect fit.
This build of the Ibis Ripmo is as good as it gets and is loaded with the very best Ibis has to offer. Starting with SRAM's XX Eagle AXS Transmission drivetrain, this ride receives the latest technology in electronic groupsets, providing us with impressively precise shifting. Next, Shimano's top-tier XTR brakes throw down loads of stopping power so we can ride even faster. A Fox Factory 38 fork and a Factory X2 shock pair together to give us a top-quality suspension set that is ultra-adjustable and takes this bike to new heights. Ibis threw in their carbon rims and paired them with Industry Nine's Hydra hub for an extremely lightweight and capable wheelset. To wrap it up, Maxxis Assegai tires give us tons of braking and cornering traction, and a wireless RockShox AXS Reverb dropper post provides us with buttery-smooth changes in saddle height.
