Works on other brand of crampons
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
I needed to replace the bindings on another brand of crampons but replacements were not available in this country. I bought these to see if they would work, they fit perfectly and I have used them on several PNW climbs, inclining submitting Mt. Rainer in late August (lots of exposed hard ice). These bindings worked perfectly and in fact were easier to use, more secure, and less troublesome than the original bindings. It is a great product.

Can I convert my new-classic air-tech by just replacing the strap with a lever? Or would I need to replace the entire heel section?
I just checked mine and the heel section is different for the Grivel's with lever and without.
