Once most of the snow retreats from the alpine, you can finally take aim at the summit and scramble up with the Gregory Miwok 18 Backpack. The breathable, mesh-lined shoulder straps and back panel prevent overheating and serious sweating, and the BioSync ATS suspension system helps keep the pack flexible and stable as you navigate the granite maze. A swinging load can knock you off balance, so Gregory included side compression straps to prevent gear from shifting around inside the Miwok. A hydration management system keeps the drinking tube within easy reach, and the dual waist belt with side pockets make it easy to access the things that you need to get to in a hurry. The Miwok has convenient spots to store a helmet and secure a bike light if you're leaving the trails behind for an urban ride.

A great day pack!
Very nice pack! Water system is easy, side pockets work well, inside security pocket and large pocket, outside stuff pocket and small outside pocket. It is well made, easy to spot and has a built in safety whistle. It is easy to adjust for the fit. Can't think of anything to complain about:)

Fantastic! 1 wish though...
This is a fantastic day hike. or trek around the city backpack. I use it for work also. The only improvement I would make is to pad the bottom of the water pouch sleeve. That way I can safely keep my laptop in there if I need it use for work purposes.

Perfect day hike bag
This bag is wonderful for day hikes, with great pouch locations for stashing gear and snacks when on trail. The separate area for a water bladder is a nice feature so that you have the main storage area for your gear. This bag will work for any type of hiker on trail, just focus on taking the essentials with the limited space. This back holds up well as it's traveled through winter and summer hiking conditions. Best of luck out there! Great bag!

Good pack all around. Small enough to hold essentials and other things but not clunky at all. Very comfortable and moves with me well.

Solid bag
Light weight solid construction. I used this bag every day for 32 on the Camino de Santiago. We covered almost 600 miles and the bag is no worse for the wear. I'd buy it again!

Bought this pack for a trip to Sedona and Grand Canyon. I was initially concerned it might be smaller than I wanted but turned out to be the perfect size daypack. It seems to hold more than you think it will and is very thoughtfully designed. The water bottle holders may have some durability issues with heavy use, but time will tell.

Great day pack
Got it for my 11 year old. A bit big on him but he'll grow into it soon.

Perfect Daypack
Great size pack for day trips. The Gregory hydration bladder fits perfect and not a lot of sloshing. This pack wouldn’t have enough space for an overnight, but should work on any day adventures. Also works great on vacations or urban adventures!

Intelligent design and thoughtful placement of snaps, pockets and external storage. It's survived crashes on the bike and the slopes and still looks like new. There is not much to complain about for this pack other than it's price/volume. If you need a small pack that's on the slightly larger side, this is the one!
