Functional and roomy
I use this pack for travel along with a carry on business trips. The pack is roomy, has a clean look and is very functional. I add a change of clothes or other items for the trip along with a laptop, iPad, cables and other work documents. Highly recommend it.

Solid Bag
I’d consider myself sort of a backpack expert. By that I mean I’ve spent way more money on backpacks than I need to. I should probably have a dedicated review channel at this point. Anyway. Solid pack. Comfortable, seems durable (6 months I’ve had). 1 large pocket. 1 laptop slot. A side/front pocket. And one small one on the top. Overall really nothing I’d change. In fact it looks like they’re discontinuing this which is an absolute shame if that’s the case. It doesn’t have too much of the garbage interior dividers that every single manufacturer assumes people want. I do not need spots to put a pen. Or 7 tiny compartments for dimes and quarters. Only thing I guess I’d request is lighter interior color to contrast the black would be cool. I would recommend this pack as a daily commuter. Maybe an overnight in a hotel or day hike on a trail but nothing much more.

Got me through 3 days in Vegas!
I recently took a work trip to Las Vegas. Checked my tool bag and wanted to keep my carry-on to a minimum. I took my border 18 which I just got and another small sling pack. I was able to fit a change of clothes, socks and underwear, a Bluetooth speaker and toiletries in the border. 18. I also had a packable rain poncho just in case as well as a battery bank for my electronics. I fit my chargers and cables in the small top pocket. I really like this pack. I also own a. Gregory Praxus 65 which I recently took on a longer trip to Canada for work. That pack is awesome! And I just ordered the Border carry-on 40 which I think will help me find that perfect. Middle ground. I'm a recent Gregory user and I have to say, I really like these packs. They look great And they are very good quality.

Fantastic pack
I wish it had a waist strap but other than that it does it's job very well and looks great.

Great fit
Was using a standard 27L type backpack, seemed like i was carrying more bag than items, with newer lighter computers this bag fits the bill, more than enough space for the business commuter, plenty of pockets and takes up less space. Good pack.

Good pack; Go for the Bigger Size
I was in the market for a new commuter-type backpack , and I had recently bought a 60L Gregory backpacking pack, which I've loved. So, Gregory was the first place I looked. I'm very glad I did. I have the 18L size Border pack, which is, in my opinion, an almost perfect backpack. The laptop compartment fits my laptop and tablet perfectly, with enough space for a notebook; I use the second, larger compartment to put chargers, pens/pencils, etc. I don't find myself using the other two pockets as much; I find the outermost pocket too small and cumbersome to use for most purposes. I would probably use the small pocket at the top of the bag more often if I didn't keep my phone in my pocket. In general, my biggest issue with this pack is that there is not always enough space for everything I want to carry. As a student, I often carry around a sweatshirt, and there is just barely enough room for this in the bag. Often times, I find myself sacrificing items just to fit everything. If I were to buy it again, I think I would go up a size. My other biggest concern is that the key holder is in the main compartment of the bag. It seems to me like the ideal space for this is the outermost pocket, which like I mentioned is too small for most items. If the key holder were in that compartment, I would use it far more often. Overall, however, I think this is an excellent pack. Buy the bigger size and you will definitely be happy. I hope this pack lasts me years to come.

Have been using this pack daily for several years and it’s still my go-to. Strong, utilitarian, and attractive.

Border 18 - Excellent for Everyday
It’s difficult to shop online sometimes. I studied the reviews before purchasing. I own a Gregory backpack for backpacking, so I new the quality of the product already. Without a doubt, the Border 18 is the perfect everyday pack for me. It holds all my essentials for work and travel carry on bag. It looks great and well-designed.
