Why We Like The Grand Trunk Mantis Chair

Around the campfire, by the lake, or occupying concert lawn seats, the Grand Trunk Mantis Chair has us lounging comfortably with a brew in hand. The seat's mesh panels ensure our backside doesn't get too toasty, and the stable frame makes sure we don't tip over when our story gesticulations get a little too enthusiastic.

Grand trunk mantis chair

Familiarity:
I've used it several times
Size Bought:
One size
Height:
5' 11"
Weight:
170

Worked ok for 3 months with normal use, then i fell down while sitting on it hurting my tail bone which hit the cross rail of the frame. The back rest support pole skewered thru the nylon catch behind the seat. I contacted backcountry warranty dept. complete with pictures of this weak camp chair. It’s almost 3 weeks, no reply at all. I am only 170 lbs and this chair just caved in while in use.
