Massive upgrade
I had been using a Vivoactive 3 for the last 4 years, so this was a big jump. This watch offers a lot more fitness tracking features and has some extra/upgraded sensors. It also has a native bouldering activity which the VA 3 didn't. I primarily use this for strength training, bouldering, and backpacking. The navigation features are great and it pairs well with my inreach mini 2. Battery life is great. It was at 15% after 12 days with 10 activities recorded and pulse ox monitoring at night. A 2 hour hike with navigation only drained about 4%. The flashlight is super handy and I use it all the time.

battery
I did a 6 1/2 mile hike, started with 90 percent charged and the hike sent it to 0 and watch shut off

I’m 10/10 better than my AW. Very very happy I switched!! It tracks everything so much better, the app is nicer, the battery is SO much longer. I’ll never go back

Nice upgrade versus Foreunner 945
My 945 had finally died and I needed a new watch. I wanted to stay with Garmin to keep the same app and my training data in one place. The battery life of the Fenix is WAY better and the newer features are incredible! Looking. Forward to seeing how my naps improve my battery as well as endurance and hill scores. My low training readiness highlights my need to figure out how to improve my sleep. A great watch and with every penny so far!

Much easier to use than I could have imagined
Great investment for anyone who lives an active life and wants to keep track of their activities. The watch keeps surprising me as I discover and learn how to use it more things. I've only owned it for a few weeks so I cant comment on long term durability however I found it very user friendly .

Great watch! Would get it again
I have had my Fenix 7 Pro Solar for a 2 weeks now. The battery is AMAZING! I am just charging it after 2 weeks of regular use but it could’ve lasted a few more days, I’m sure. Tons of features and options. 5 star minimum
