Cute color, soft, weird proportions

I am 5'9" 149lb with a long torso and bought a size small. This thing is SO wide, it's crazy. Also slightly cropped length in front it seems. Shaped like a bell, very unflattering. Not sure how much fabric the model has bunched up in back, or if I just got a weird one. It's soft, and the color is fantastic, and it's cozy, but the fit is just super awkward. Got a great deal on sale, but sadly cannot justify keeping it even at over half off. Good for the couch maybe? But I have hoodies for that and they are way more versatile.
