Simple/plain waistcoat that looks and does the job
Bought this item 3 months ago and have worn it daily over the British summer! Found it to be a great vest/jacket - light to wear but highly windproof and roomy enough for another layer on top of base layer as and when required. Hand pockets are very generous size and quality build of jacket means heavier items in pocket/s means you don’t feel ‘weighed down’ on one side/lopsided. Have not applied wax for winter weather yet but will do so in coming months. Really like the plain simple style as, personally I’m not a fan of quilted designs. Inner zipped security pocket is also useful.

At 5'8" and 170lbs the Fjällräven Singi Padded Vest in medium fits true to size and is the perfect layering piece over a hoodie, flannel, or even a t-shirt. The padded insulation provides just enough warmth when needed. The chest pockets are great for a Field Notes or your cell phone. It's a functional & stylish piece you're sure to get compliments on.
