Beyond Expectations

I have owned many ski boots from Dolomites, Tecnica, Salomon, Dynafit ( touring) and Scarpa ( touring ). However, the three buckle design Cabrio from Dalbello is well engineered!!! No more pain in the chins when hitting the bumps or crud and this is as a result of their liner design that wraps around your chin and moldability characteristics. I am typically a 25.5, but by mistake, I ordered a 24.5. When I initially tried them on, I was convinced that I had to exchange it for a larger size. However, I took the boots to my boot fitter in Boulder and he told me that he could make it work, but it would be a "performance fit". I didn't have a clue of what he meant at that point in time other than tight and uncomfortable. Was I wrong! The boots fit is precise and are immediately reactive to where you want the skis to turn to. It sounds crazy, I know, but it is unreal. Their precision and comfort not improves your confidence, but also your performance in the mountain overall. The more I use them, the more comfortable they get as you break them in. Kudos to Dalbello

Performance: 10/10 Comfort: 9/10 Value: 8.5/10 First review ever... These boots are fantastic. Bought 120 and 130 flex. Kept the 130 flex and 100% worth it. The boot feels snug and required no boot fitting (maybe i got lucky). Managed to get a great fit out of box and then to break them in a little before my first ski day I wore them around the house for about an hour every day for 6 days. The liner molded perfectly around my foot. What i noticed with these boots/liner is that i get the best fit when i wear them for 30min indoors before i go out to ski. This molds the liner perfectly around the foot and when you go out in the cold the liner stiffens nicely in that mold. I enjoy skiing aggresive lines and jibbing around the resort. I felt super comfortable and stable in these boots. My previous boots have been Nordica Speedmachine 120(2020 model) and Dalbello Moro IL (2021 model). These outperform my previous boots in performance and comfort. Solid purchase even though it was expensive.
