Why We Like The Cascadia 16 GTX Running Shoe

The adaptable design of the Cascadia Running Shoe is even better with a GORE-TEX membrane readying us for any trail conditions. Rocky and root-covered routes are no match for the compressible DNA Loft midsole and its protective rock plate. TrailTack rubber offers grip on these rough, dry surfaces as well as muddy and slippery ones. Plus, GORE-TEX technology keeps puddles and falling rain from soaking our feet and bringing our run to a halt.

You must try these! They do not skip a beat!!!

These babies got me all the way through the Te Araroa..in 2023-2024.New Zealands ultimate through hike, 3030kms of beach, forest, river crossings, mountains, and tough road surfaces. I used 2 pairs! . They even got me through the infamous Taurarua Ranges...NO BLISTERS for me!! Very happy feet and bouncy walking! I had to swap them out after 1500kms...amazing! The Great grip made for confident hiking! Quick drying so can confidently walk through water. I give them 10 stars and will always be a Brooks customer!

Slippery when wet

Given that these are water-resistant, I would have expected better performance on wet surfaces like the fog-drenched granite of Acadia National Park. So use caution in rocky areas on a rainy day. No problems on dry days and I can wear them all day long and they are still comfortable.

Comfortable and dry on the trail

The great thing about these shoes is they keep you dry in wet conditions but breathability is excellent.

Great buy

These shoes are exactly what I had been on the hunt for. I was in need of two things out of the next tennis shoe I bought, comfort and waterproof. These shoes are just that. I would recommend them to anyone looking for something similar.
