Simple is sweet.

The head and tail light options for bikes can be incredibly daunting, we know. If you're the slightest bit indecisive, you'd better be prepared to spend a considerable amount of time trying to choose between dozens of different models. If you know simplicity is what you're after, we'd recommend the Blackburn 2Fer USB Light. Able to double as either a front or rear light, the minimal 2Fer emits up to 60 lumens on front mode and 20 on rear, helping you stay visible in traffic or during rides that end under dark skies without overburdening you with too many features. The included battery recharges via a USB cable, and you can choose between just two refreshingly basic modes: flashing and steady.

Epic Fail

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

This light didn't fit around my standard size road bike handlebars unless you stretched the strap to the max, almost tearing it. Then, it's almost impossible to "slide" the light it off to recharge it. You certainly can't remove the strap each time as it takes herculean strength to get it on the bars. Oh yeah, then it stopped recharging at all after about 3 uses. PO junk. Don't buy.
