Zenith Climbing Rope
Projects are such personal exploits that, on redpoint day, the only one cheering louder than your belayer is yourself, but that doesn't stop you from feeling like you're accepting an award in front of your entire fanbase. This would be the time where you'd like to thank your sponsors, and even though you don't have any, you might want to show a little gratitude to your belayer, climbing shoes, and Beal's Zenith Climbing Rope for not weighing you down as you climbed to success. A 9.5mm diameter places this rope smack dab in the middle of every climbing rope, as far as thickness is concerned. It strikes a stunning balance between lightweight suppleness and long-lasting durability for sport climbers who want to feel light without compromising overall strength.

Favorite short rope
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
- Size Bought:
- 40m
TL:DR; Great short/gym/ 40m rope, go unicore if your doing longer pitches. This is my go to 40m burner/ cheap workhorse rope for local cragging and gym climbing. Feeds great, feels slim, but not unicore. I’d recommend a unicore rope if doing more than short easy access crags and gyms. Going on my fourth rope (shenanigans, chops, and 300-400 pitches combined) and yes the sheath can get fuzzy, but I’ve put this rope thru a lot, it’s been reliable, and has a soft catch. Saves my other ropes for when I travel.

Handles well, ok sheathe durability
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Bought the pink 70m 9.5 in Sept for fall sport climbing season- after only 4 days of sessions outdoors, sheathe is starting to look fuzzy already which is disappointing. Love the color, how well it handles, and catches feel fine. Feels surprisingly thin for a 9.5 which is a plus for some. Disappointed in the durability as my past edelrid and mammut ropes went through at least 20 days outdoors before showing major wear
