Whether we just got off the mountain a minute ago or a day ago, we're having our legs rest up inside our Backcountry Quilted Insulated Jogger. The smooth material feels silky against our skin when worn alone and can easily slide over a baselayer, while the ornamental stitching holds the insulation in place, keeping our look chic and our cozy level turned up. The stretch cuffs help hold in the heat and slip neatly inside our boots, and the elastic waist lets us bend and lounge freely—no digging or pinching here.

A little warmth for winter
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Bought the blue and love it. The fit is perfect and comfy. A lightweight insulation. I am 5'3" 109 and the small fits well. I also tried the xs but decided I wanted a little more room for another layer underneath. Happy that they look pretty good for insulated pants. Bought a second pair in Black.

I needed a pair of pants to wear under my fishing waders. I’ve tried fleece but that wasn’t enough. Given I’m 5’2” on a good day, I’m usually in water above my waist . So I get cold easily: Spring wading on the East Coast can be cold. I haven’t worn these yet for fishing but I’m glad I sized up! Based on the reviews, I picked a Small. Even though the inseam isn’t petite, the length is perfect. They do balloon out oddly just below the waist, in the front! The pockets don’t help - I may sew them shut.

I am normally a small in everything, 5'6, 127 pounds, but these were both tight in the butt and short. Tempted to get a medium, I really like the material, and they felt instantly warm trying them on, but I still don't think they would be long enough to keep my ankles warm too. Returning them.

I’m 5’9, 145lbs and got size M - they were a little too baggy on my legs and definitely too short. I have them to my 5’7, 160lb boyfriend and he loves them even though they’re baby blue. Great comfy pants, not for my body.

I ordered these to see how they'd fit despite another review saying they fit weird/were unflattering. I am a size Small pretty consistently throughout brands and that's what I ordered in these pants. They fit totally normally and are as flattering as a pair of quilted insulated joggers could be. I personally do not experience any poofing at the pockets or otherwise. My only concern is that the lining of the pockets is very thin and not insulated, so that might be an Achilles heel in cold weather.

I am 5'7", athletic build 155 and bought a Large. I ordered this b/c I wanted a thin puffy that has insulation on the backside. The Stansbury ALLIED Down Tight I was looking to upgrade on fits me perfect in a large. I found the quilted jogger to be too snug in the waist. I am built straight so my hips are not much bigger than my waist. Also the pockets poof out and its not attractive. The rise in the crotch/backside is a bit short so you have to pull the waist part down a bit so its not jammed up especially when bending over. I love how thin the quilt is but I think the pockets should of been zippered hand pockets like the Stansbury allied tight. I also would of liked the waist to be more relaxed with an internal draw cord for perfect fit. Basically I wished it was a Stansbury tight with a quilted backside. If your curvy with a small waist to hip ratio, they probably will work great. I would of bought more Stansbury but they really didn't change the colors much and don't love the new quilt pattern. For reference, a Large: the top of waist in the Stansbury lying flat is 18" and the Quilted jogger is 16". So if the Stansbury was too loose for you even with the draw cord, then this jogger might be perfect.
