Adjustable bindings used to be a nightmare to deal with, leading to a lower performance feel, luckily we have found that the Atomic Prolink Shift-In Skate Binding changes all of that. These bindings can be put into six different positions without even taking your feet our of the bindings. These 6 positions can be used to improve glide or add stability.

Good concept, but only for certain skis.
I wanted to use these to bring Prolink boot compatibility & adjustable binding technology to some older skate skis I have. The listing states "Flat mount allows you to put these on your favorite skate ski. Shift-In plate bonds to the ski for power transmission." But in fact, you can't put these on your favorite skis unless they came with a pre-bonded "Shift-In" plate. The plate is NOT included with the binding set, and as best I can tell from exhaustive internet search, cannot be purchased separately to retrofit an existing "flat" ski to accept this binding. (Note that the Salomon/Atom "Shift" plate, which IS somewhat available, is confusingly NOT the same as the "Shift-In" plate and will not work with these bindings-- tried that.) Having to return these bindings now and buy a set of standard screw-in bindings instead : (
