Cheaply Made
I love Altra shoes, but I recently bought these and they fell apart within a month. The fabric ripped and the grips are falling off. I bought these directly from the company and felt my voice needed heard. Such a shame... For reference, I'm a nurse with a desk job and they had little exposure to rough terrain before falling apart. My Provision 7's are holding up nicely!

Love the fit, but should be MUCH better quality for the pric
First off, Altra has saved my feet! I love the fit and comfort of the shoes that I've purchased, BUT ... I've had issues with the quality of the material on each of them - both the Torin 6 and Olympus 5. This is my third pair of Torin 6 and having the same issue: material on the inner part of the shoe is shearing and the tread on the bottom is coming off (unglued?). And I must add that this pair has never been worn outdoors. I've only worn them to workout in my home. Very disappointing since: 1)Altra shoes are truly the only shoe I've that does not hurt my feet and 2)their high price tag. When I returned the last pair to the running store, they also reported this has been an issue with many of their customers.

Great idea poor quality
Purchased two pairs of this shoe a month ago. I had to return one pair due to manufacturing defect and the second pair already has damage to the heal counter due to rubbing. I own a pair of the previous version and they are built like a tank with no problems after multiple years (grass cutting shoes after retired from running)

Tongue feels short
The tongue feels so short if you lace all the way up. The laces tie about 3 mm away from the top. Weird

problematic toe guard
I love the Torin 6 wides - great for running, walking and gym workouts and fits my Hobbit feet perfectly. But there's a flaw in the toe guard area - it creases after a weeks. Usually it's fine and I don't feel it. But with my latest pair, it creased so much that it dug into my big toe and I had to give up the shoes before it was time to replace them.

Only good for 6 months
I will start off by saying that I did love this product. Best shoe I have ever bought and my 1st experience with Altra. But it did start to tear at the balls of my feet and the tread did start to come off after 6 months of everyday use. So I am disappointed in this product. I will say, I don't keep my shoes clean and I don't tread lightly being careful not to let anything touch them, but I also don't throw them in a volcano and expect them to survive. (Pictures are after 11 months)

Mixed review
I walk a couple of miles morning and evening with my dog. I absolutely love the feel. So comfortable and surprisingly supportive of my high arch. The support and comfort has not budged since I bought them. The wide toe box is everything!!! Complaints. The outer materials are not holding up. There are holes where my big toes are on the top, and yes the length is fine. And the bottoms are peeling away. It's become a tripping hazard. It's very frustrating because these shoes are pricey and as much as I want to, I don't know if I can bring myself to buy another pair. Also, I would love it if these came in an all weather option. Morning dew alone soaks my toes walking in grass.

I just received my 2nd pair of the Torin 6.
I love them and want to be sure I will have them for a while. They are so comfortable with an ample toe box and snug for my narrow heels. I have plantar fasciitis and wear a shoe insert that fits perfectly. I really appreciate the extra cushioning these provide.

loved the torin 5
Still a decent shoe, but I miss the old, wide toe box. The toe box on this shoe is noticeably slimmer and it squishes my toes together. Proprioception is worse, and toes feel uncomfortable after wearing for too long. PLEASE CHANGE THE TOE BOX BACK TO THE WIDE, TRULY FOOT-SHAPED VERSION!!

Comfy but falls apart very quickly
I have used previous Torins for running up to 10k, and for wearing at work. The Torin6 are a disappointment. Expensive shoes to fall apart after only 2 months of light use in a manufacturing cleanroom. You can see where the treads are falling off. Not likely to buy again, which is too bad since they do fit so well.
