Why We Like The Adidas Terrex Free Hiking 2 Hiking Shoe
For that free feeling on the trail, we like the lightweight and comfortable Adidas Terrex Free Hiking 2. The soft, PRIMEKNIT collars have a sweet sock-lite fit around our ankles with the EVA support and BOOST midsoles spoiling our feet with plush cushioning for hiking trails, gravel, and forest service roads. On top of all that comfort, Adidas has scored some environmental points by crafting the shoe's uppers out of recycled polyester and Parley Ocean Plastic that removes plastic pollution from our oceans.

Felt it took atleast a couple of days to break
The back of the shoe rubs on the foot a bit much and maybe stop doing that after a few days, let’s see. Wear good socks to protect your feet. They seem water resistant though

Awful, sick top is far too tight
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm normally a 10.5 Adidas. I ordered and 11 as they stated they come up small. Wow to start the sock at the top of the boot means it's very hard to get them on.

Finally nailed the design.
This is the first shoe with boost that actually works as a hiking shoe - previous iterations suffered from lack of sufficient midsole or the all-to-common prevalence of hot spots near the ankles or the accessory navicular (an extra bone above the arch which 10% of us have). The previous mid-tops also had a large opening around the cuff, which not only provided scant ankle support but allowed all kinds of debris into the shoe. This edition has cured quite completely the debris issue, with a cuff sock - but the ankle support is only lightly available, due to a lack of a stiff collar. Still - this is now a decent shoe to wear on long hikes.

The shoes are the best shoes I’ve ever owned
The shoes are comfortable and very lightweight I wish they were a little looser around the toe area!

Size isn’t the same as their shoes
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Too small in length, I normally go for 12.5 in adidas but it was too small unfortunately.
