Designed specifically for cold weather, the Nicotine utilizes a compound that resists growing too stiff and brittle in cold temps, maintaining its elasticity for the best grip possible. The 120tpi, 2.35-inch-wide casing is light and strong, but wide enough to afford traction in loose conditions, and fast enough to carve when you want it to, and the low-profile central tread of the tire lends some stability on harder surfaces. There's a studless version available, but for those who fear no winter obstacle, the studded version features 222 aluminum studs with concave carbide tips, aggressively gripping icy trails or roads with equal confidence.
