Shallow cup, but solid quality

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
5` 8"
135 lbs

Far superior to your grandpa's Stanley, with all due respect. This cup cap has a refined solution, with a better twist function and a really, really solid cap. My only gripe is that it's a bit shallow, but I can get over it. I hesitated to buy this because of the price, so I waited for it on sale. Now that I have it, it's hard to have a Yeti without it.

Cup Cap Review

I've used it several times

I was given this product from Backcountry, but this review is my personal opinion. As a teacher, I am constantly drinking water, making the rambler perfect for me as it keeps my water cold for hours. I also tested this with my coffee because I rarely get to drink my coffee before I leave home and by the time I make it to school, in most other thermos bottles, my coffee would be cold. I really like the cup cap because I can pour a little bit of coffee out at a time and drink it while I have a few minutes without pouring it all out and it all getting cold before I have the time to drink it all. In teaching, I am on my feet all of the time and the cup cap is usually full of coffee. It’s compatibility with the rambler is excellent because I have two other caps for the rambler when I might not need the cup cap. I do not camp or do much outdoors, but the cup cap is still used frequently. Also, I babysit during the summer and in South Carolina on a hot day by the pool, I do not want 9 year old boy hands/lips all over where I also drink from. The cup cap provides a way of sharing cold water without sharing the germs. Highly recommend this product; very durable, perfect size and many different uses!

Water Bottle--> Thermos Transformation!

I've put it through the wringer

I was given this product from Backcountry, but this review is my personal opinion. I didn't expect to love this Cup Cap as much as I did! With the high quality insulation on the Rambler bottle, a friend and I were able to enjoy hot tea at the end of a cold and rainy walk. Twisting the cap opens a small slit where I could pour out my drink without losing my teabags and lemon slices. The small cup was the perfect size for me, and it did not burn my hands even with a piping hot beverage inside. This is going to be a great addition to my road trip or camping arsenal- turning my Rambler bottle into a thermos for coffee or hot mixed drinks around the fire or during those long drives. The high quality construction will definitely keep this is my rotation for years to come. The Cup Cap looks a little big on the bottle itself, adding about 3.5 inches of height versus the shorter classic rambler lid. The slick construction makes it a little more difficult to hold and carry, but fits perfectly in a pack. The polished stainless steel finish will go well with any color bottle. Tell your friend to bring their own cup and celebrate at the end of your hike!

Awesome review, Rhea! Thanks for sharing :)
