Vasque crammed 400g Thinsulate synthetic insulation into the waterproof Snowburban II Ultradry Winter Boot to keep your feet toasty no matter what the weather is doing. Since staying warm is only half of the battle, the boot is constructed with rough-and-ready waterproof leather uppers that keep moisture out, and a dual-density EVA footbed that's built to support you for all day snowy adventures. When you're scrambling up snowy trails, or walking your little one to school on icy sidewalks, the Nordic Rover outsole adds extra grip with winter traction lugs that are hit with razor siping for no-slip protection.

Good boot gone bad

This is a good boot. I agree with prior commenters that the boot designers made a significant flaw by using shoelace channels instead of metal loops - open or closed. As a result it is super clumsy and finicky to get on and off. It is going back.
