Great for Hiking

I am on my second pair of these and they are awesome! I use them exclusively when we are hiking. One improvement UA could make is the toe guard piece. The epoxy/seam is weak and it pulls away rather quickly. I have to glue it back on quite regularly. Other than that great shoes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own over 15 pairs of UA running and training shoes .. this is my second pair of Machina off-road … I thought the first pair were the best until I bought and took my first run in these … I run 8-10 a week .. I’m a trainer and I run 15-17 miles a day .. I run on tracks, concrete, dirt and trails along the bayous in houston … by far these are the best trail running shoes I’ve purchased … I highly recommend these shoes not only for trail / off raid running but for tracks, concrete / sidewalks and just everyday wear because of the comfort … if you love to run trials you will find these shoes not only conquer the trails but any terrain you put them to the test on … give them a try you won’t be disappointed …

Another Great Sneaker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered these as my new pair for the OCR season. The fit is comfortable as I have come to expect from UA. This is my 7th pair of running shoe from UA, this being the first trail running one. I love the colorway and even more so the Mapmyrun feature. This is going to come in real handy to collecting my stats on my next Spartan. Quality build! Hopefully they rethink and keep Mapmyrun and incorporate it into more sneakers!

Beautiful shoes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first saw these shoes, it was love at first site. I was a bit nervous thinking they might not look as good in person as they do in the pictures, but they look even better. Fits perfectly and very comfortable to wear.

Stiff but Comfortable

So, these are on the heavier end of things. Go from lightweight competitors to these heavyweights and you'll certainly notice. The heels don't stay on so well for me. They have superb traction and on dirt, can feel like cleats. Love MapMyRun and the HOVR series, my 3rd pair of HOVRs over the years. (By the way HOVRS ARE NOT WATERPROOF!!!! You'll totally ruin the chips inside.) Love the way these uppers feel. the sole and mid-sole is much too narrow under the arch. Get the blue ones, not only cheaper right now but, once you've worn some blue shoes for a while, you won't want another color. I completely understand Elvis and his blue suede shoes. These are excellent trainers and a roomy toe box.

Comfortable and lightweight

Great fit right out of the box!

Of all the outdoor/trail sneakers I have tried I am amazed by these. I am looking at buying another pair as soon as I can to stock up in case of a lineup change. Great job UA! Keep it up!
