The North Face designed the Titan Men's Hooded Down Jacket to do one thing: keep you warm during frigid climbing, alpine, and expedition days. It's totally frill-free, with nothing to take away from its top-of-the-line 900-fill goose down insulation, which provides unbeatable warmth at a mind-numbing weight (just 1.25lbs), so you'll be more than comfortable at icy belays or alpine basecamps. Moisture won't be a worry, either, since the Titan's ripstop fabric is treated with a DWR coating to repel water and keep the down warm and lofty. The North Face finished it off with internal elastic cuffs and a pre-cinched elastic waist to trap heat, tossed in a few pack- and harness-compatible pockets, and topped it off with an adjustable helmet-compatible hood to keep you noggin warm while you're melting snow or watching your partner tech his way up that first A3 pitch.
